Insurance Broker - (Senior Account Manager or Account Manager)

HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join a large independent brokerage with multiple offices across multiple states.

This opportunity is perfect for an ambitious insurance professional who wants the resources of a major national business combined with the agility of an independent firm. You will take ownership of a high quality mid market and corporate portfolio featuring a heavy focus on construction and property risks, alongside financial lines and complex placements across a broad spectrum ofindustries.

• Salary $120k to $170k plus super (depending heavily on experience and seniority level)

The role:

• Manage and service an established portfolio of mid market and corporate clients with a strong emphasis on construction and property.
• Coordinate complex renewals and placements including financial lines and hard to place risks across diverse industry sectors.
• Provide strategic risk advice and build deep technical relationships with key corporate decision makers.
• Negotiate effectively with senior underwriters in local and London markets to secure optimal terms.
• Work collaboratively with internal claims teams and broker assistants to ensure premium client service.

About you:

• Must hold a Tier 1 insurance qualification.
• Proven track record as an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager handling complex commercial or corporate accounts.
• Strong technical capability in property, construction, and financial lines products.
• Capability to structure and place difficult or hard to market risks with confidence.
• Highly sophisticated communication and presentation skills suitable for corporate environments.
• A proactive team contributor who enjoys working in a fast paced national business.
