HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking a Broker Assistant to join a thriving brokerage in Brisbane.

This opportunity is perfect for an experienced broker assistant looking to continue to build their career within the industry. Supporting a busy team of brokers, you will play a vital role in the day to day operations and client service delivery for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Salary: $65k to $80k plus super (depending on experience)
The role:
  • Provide high level administrative support to a team of insurance brokers.
  • Assist with the preparation of renewal reports, quotes, and insurance submissions.
  • Process policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of currency with high accuracy.
  • Manage client enquiries and follow up on outstanding information from insurers.
  • Update and maintain client records within the brokerage management system.
About you:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role, ideally within insurance or professional services.
  • Currently hold or willing to obtain the Tier 1 insurance qualification.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software systems.
