HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking an Account Executive to join a boutique brokerage in Brisbane specializing in SME insurance solutions.

This opportunity is perfect for a client focused professional who enjoys the agility and personalized approach of a boutique environment. You will have the chance to manage your own portfolio of small to medium enterprise clients, providing expert advice across various commercial lines while working closely with a supportive leadership team.

  • Salary: $90k to $115k plus super (depending on experience)
The role:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of SME clients across a variety of industries.
  • Provide tailored insurance advice and risk management solutions suited to small business needs.
  • Handle the end to end renewal process, including quoting, placement, and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters to secure competitive terms for your clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service by acting as the primary point of contact for all client enquiries and claims assistance.
About you:
  • Must have obtained the Tier 1 insurance qualification.
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or Assistant Broker looking to step up within an SME focus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of general commercial insurance products.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport with business owners.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a high volume of small accounts efficiently.
  • A self motivated individual who thrives in a close knit team environment.
  • Strong commitment to professional integrity and client advocacy.
