HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking an Account Executive or Account Manager to join a growing brokerage on the Sunshine Coast.

You will take ownership of a local commercial portfolio, providing expert advice and personalized service to a variety of businesses within a supportive and professional environment.

  • Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • Salary: $95k to $120k plus super (depending on experience and portfolio size)
The role:
  • Oversee and manage a general insurance portfolio with a focus on SME and commercial risks.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients regarding their insurance needs and risk exposures.
  • Execute the end to end renewal process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely placement.
  • Build strong partnerships with underwriters to negotiate optimal terms and coverage.
  • Maintain a high level of client engagement through regular reviews and proactive support.
About you:
  • Have obtained the Tier 1 insurance qualification.
  • Previous experience in a brokerage as an Account Executive or Account Manager.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and market trends.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term client relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A positive, proactive approach to problem solving and client service.
