Senior Claims Advisor, Workers Compensation

HAYLO People are a specialist recruitment agency within the personal injury & insurance industry and we are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Advisor to join an Australian market leader who are growing their Workers Compensation division. 

Based in Ipswich, with onsite parking, flexible working hours, competitive salary, bonus structure, discounted products and wellbeing benefits. 

The Role & Portfolio

• You will be working amongst a team who are passionate and who are focused on positive workers' compensation claims outcomes.
• Determine liability and make sound decisions on complex and sensitive claims.
• Develop and implement claim strategies to achieve optimal recovery and claim cost outcomes.
• Work with experienced Self Insurance leaders and a high performing technical claims team managing the claims end to end for the employers injured workers.

About You

• Significant experience managing Queensland Workers Compensation claims, desirable Self Insurance background managing claims end to end.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland workers compensation legislation and claims management principles.
• Experience making liability decisions and managing complex claims
• Have a genuine, caring nature that puts customers at the heart of what you do, showing empathy in all circumstances.
• Enjoy stepping up and supporting others with mentoring and coaching.
• A true team player who supports peers and loves helping others.
