HAYLO are partnered with a leading Specialist insurer who are looking for a registered Psychologist to join their internal medical team in a newly created Clinical Advisor role.
  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Sydney CBD based
  • Salary of up to $150,000 + Super
  • No billable hours, claims management or clinical caseload
  • Internal coaching, advisory and clinical guidance focus
  • Opportunity to transition from clinical practice into the insurance industry
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals
If you're looking to use your clinical expertise away from a traditional clinical environment, without billables, managing a caseload or running your own claims, this could be a great fit.

This is a purely coaching and advisory position, working alongside a team of Doctors, Physiotherapists and other medical professionals to provide clinical guidance around the management of workplace psychological injuries and improve return-to-work outcomes.


Your core responsibilities will be:

  • Provide clinical advice and expert opinion on the management of workplace psychological injuries.
  • Work alongside Psychologists, GPs and other health professionals to support effective clinical management and RTW outcomes.
  • Conduct case reviews and provide guidance to internal claims professionals on medical strategy.
  • Coach and mentor Case Managers on psychological injury management and communication with treating health professionals.
  • Help build clinical capability across the wider claims team.
About You:
 
We're looking for a registered Psychologist with strong clinical experience and an understanding of psychological injury, disability or return-to-work. Workers Compensation experience would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
