HAYLO People are exclusively partnering with a leading national disability and community services provider to recruit an experienced Injury Management Specialist.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys owning workers compensation claims end-to-end, driving strong recovery outcomes and working closely with employees, leaders, insurers and rehabilitation providers.

The role:

You will manage workplace injuries and workers compensation claims across the full claim lifecycle, while partnering closely with the broader WHS and HR functions.
  • Manage workers compensation claims from initial notification through to closure
  • Develop and monitor tailored return to work and suitable duties plans
  • Coordinate early intervention, treatment, rehabilitation and medical case conferences
  • Manage complex, psychological and long-duration claims
  • Partner with injured employees, leaders, insurers, brokers, rehabilitation providers and treating practitioners
  • Monitor claim duration, cost, liability exposure and return to work performance
About you:
  • At least 2 years experience in an employer based setting working across injury management and return-to-work planning
  • Experience managing workers compensation claims end-to-end ideally across NSW and VIC
  • Confidence managing complex, psychological and/or long-duration claims
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
  • The ability to interpret medical information and develop practical recovery strategies
  • Allied health background is desirable but not essential
