The Real Cost of a Wrong Hire in Workers Compensation & Injury Management
What NSW HR managers and injury management leaders need to know before their next hire and how to avoid the trap most organisations fall into.
The Women in Insurance NSW Christmas Champagne Breakfast was held last Friday at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. This was the third event they’ve hosted since Haylo Director and Co-Founder Danielle Marshall was elected to their committee.
Our team was in attendance as well as several of our wonderful clients, and many industry colleagues and friends. Even Santa was there to jolly things up!

It was wonderful to see the attendees bring along a handbag/backpack filled with life’s necessities as part of the Share The Dignity ‘It’s in the Bag’ initiative. In total 173 bags were collected to help support women and young girls in need over the holiday period. There was other fundraising at the event as well, with proceeds being shared between Ronald McDonald House and Share The Dignity.
Reflecting on 2023 with our industry colleagues, we agreed it was a year that saw scheme changes, emerging risks and AI disruption… on top of a candidate short market. It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed getting together and sharing a glass of bubbles!
