HAYLO People are experts in Personal Injury, Safety and General Insurance recruitment. This newly created opportunity is ideal for an experienced Injury Management & Wellbeing Officer who thrives in a collaborative, people-first environment.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving injury prevention, proactive return-to-work initiatives, and wellbeing strategies across a large and diverse workforce — helping to embed a positive health and safety culture from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive early intervention support to help injured workers remain at work.
  • Support national employers in managing injury processes across multiple states and jurisdictions.
  • Carry out appropriate post-triage follow-up, including organising medical appointments, liaising with stakeholders, providing email updates, and developing return-to-work plans.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to claims processes, such as completing claim forms, submitting certificates, and calculating PIAWE.
  • Participate in occasional worksite meetings or case conferences with injured workers and their employers to assess pre-injury duties and identify suitable duties for return-to-work planning (as required).
  • Collaborate with other consultants who may also be involved in worksite meetings or case conferences.
  About You
  • Tertiary qualifications as an Allied Health professional (Physio, OT, Psych, Exercise Phys, etc.) and/or relevant experience
  • Experience in either Return to Work Case Management, Workers Compensation front end management or Occupational Rehabilitation.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus. Account Management experience would be advantageous
  • Current driver’s licence
