HAYLO People are experts in Personal Injury, Safety and General Insurance recruitment. This newly created opportunity is ideal for an experienced Injury Management & Wellbeing Officer who thrives in a collaborative, people-first environment.
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving injury prevention, proactive return-to-work initiatives, and wellbeing strategies across a large and diverse workforce — helping to embed a positive health and safety culture from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Drive early intervention support to help injured workers remain at work.
Support national employers in managing injury processes across multiple states and jurisdictions.
Carry out appropriate post-triage follow-up, including organising medical appointments, liaising with stakeholders, providing email updates, and developing return-to-work plans.
Perform administrative tasks related to claims processes, such as completing claim forms, submitting certificates, and calculating PIAWE.
Participate in occasional worksite meetings or case conferences with injured workers and their employers to assess pre-injury duties and identify suitable duties for return-to-work planning (as required).
Collaborate with other consultants who may also be involved in worksite meetings or case conferences.
About You
Tertiary qualifications as an Allied Health professional (Physio, OT, Psych, Exercise Phys, etc.) and/or relevant experience
Experience in either Return to Work Case Management, Workers Compensation front end management or Occupational Rehabilitation.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service focus. Account Management experience would be advantageous
Current driver’s licence
