HAYLO People are partnering with a leading organisation within the self-insurance sector to recruit an experienced Workers’ Compensation Team Leader to lead a high-performing NSW claims team.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with the flexibility to work 100% remotely from anywhere in NSW, while managing a team of experienced case managers and driving outstanding claims and return-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of workers’ compensation professionals
Provide technical claims support and guidance on complex matters
Monitor team performance against KPIs and service standards
Drive quality claims management and return-to-work outcomes
Manage escalated stakeholder concerns, complaints and disputes
Analyse claims trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with NSW workers’ compensation legislation and self-insurance requirements
Foster a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing team culture
About You
Previous leadership experience within Workers’ Compensation Claims
Strong knowledge of NSW self-insurance frameworks and legislation
Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate high-performing teams
Extensive end-to-end claims management experience
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Strong problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution capabilities
A passion for customer service and achieving positive outcomes for injured workers
