The Role
As a Recoveries Consultant your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage recovery in line with delegated authority and SLAs
- Negotiate settlements with customers and all stakeholders required in the process.
- Recover funds from Third Parties, Third Party Insurers, and Hirers in breach of their agreements.
- Assist the Recoveries & Claims team in strategies to effectively manage recoveries.
- Deliver internal and external communications to a high standard.
- Attend customer meetings to ensure strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to raise awareness of claims that may impact on underwriting decisions at both policy and intermediary level.

- Experience in recoveries or claims.
- Experience in commercial motor insurance, having the ability to determine claim liability.
- Confidence to deal with external parties, with the ability to negotiate and manage expectations.
- The ability to stay focused and perform well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
