We’re partnering with a leading brokerage to appoint a Compliance Officer/Manager to work closely with insurance broking teams and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Whether you’re an experienced compliance professional or an established insurance broker looking for a change, this is a great opportunity to step into a different direction.

The role
  • Drive compliance frameworks that align with AFSL obligations and industry regulations.
  • Investigate incidents, identify risks, and deliver practical solutions that minimise impact.
  • Lead training and education, building awareness, and fostering a culture of ethical conduct.
  • Provide meaningful reports and recommendations that inform leadership decisions.
  • Monitor legislative changes and enhance risk and audit processes to keep the business ahead of the curve.
About you
  • Previous experience in compliance or insurance broking (insurance industry background essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex workloads under pressure.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence across the business.
  • A collaborative, solutions-focused approach and genuine enthusiasm for the insurance sector.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
