This is an exciting role where you'll be a key part in enhancing the company's offering. It's an opportunity to join at the start of something new and help steer the company towards more success.

The role:
  • Claims Management: Manage complex, large loss property claims, including those from CAT events. Assess the coverage, liability and cost of these claims and assessments and ensure accurate claim outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: With your expertise, you will guide the wider team on claims management processes and feedback on technical elements of the process.
  • Optimisation: Streamline claims processes through a process of design and implementation, offering your expertise to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen relationships: Be a key face of the team, partnering with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to get the best results possible for the business.
  • Coaching: As a respected member of the team you will ensure growth of knowledge and capability of the less technical / experienced staff. Your expertise is invaluable.

About you:
  • Minimum 8 years experience in claims management, with strong experience in major complex loss. *Commercial property preferred but not necessary- claims or loss adjusting backgrounds accepted.
  • Experience in managing relationships internally and externally. Confidence in negotiation and decision making.
  • Able to implement best practices and improved processes.
  • Experience mentoring team members.
  • Happy to commit to regional travel and attend claims sites when required.
Salary: $140,000 Base Salary Plus Super
