We are partnered with a growing specialist agency seeking a Claims Manager – Personal Accident to lead and develop their claims function. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong leader to drive operational performance, mentor a high-performing team, and build trusted relationships with brokers and insurer partners.
We can also consider a technical specialist or senior case manager looking for the opportunity to step up.

As the Claims Manager, you'll oversee the end-to-end Personal Accident claims portfolio, providing technical guidance on complex claims while driving continuous improvement, governance and customer outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Personal Accident Claims team.
  • Manage the end-to-end claims function, ensuring quality outcomes, compliance and service excellence.
  • Provide technical expertise and oversight on complex Personal Accident and Injury claims.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, insurer partners and key stakeholders.
  • Drive claims performance through reporting, process improvements and reducing claims leakage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, delegated authorities and governance frameworks.
  • Identify claims trends and contribute to ongoing operational and portfolio improvements.
Skills & Experience:
  • 8+ years' experience managing Personal Accident, Accident & Sickness or Personal Injury claims.
  • Previous leadership experience managing or developing claims teams.
  • Strong technical claims knowledge with the ability to manage complex matters.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Experience driving claims performance, reporting and operational improvements.
