Rehab & Return To Work Coordinator

HAYLO People is a specialist recruitment agency supporting the Personal Injury and Insurance industry and are recruiting an opportunity for a highly experienced Return to Work Coordinator, Injury management specialist or Claims Manager who enjoys supporting injured workers with their recovery and identifying ways to support RTW.

Duties will include:

• As the Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator, you will be  responsible for developing tailored strategies to improve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes and reduce workplace injury.
• Consult with injured or ill workers, medical and allied health practitioners and other relevant stakeholders to drive early intervention measures in managing complex cases from end to end.
• Develop and coordinating treatment and return to work plans for both physical and psychological injuries within a timely and proactive manner.
• Work flexibly and hybrid whilst also visiting local sites in Gold Coast.

To be successful you will:

• Have 3+ years of self insurance or employer RTW/Case Management - QLD Scheme experience in a fast paced Workers Compensation Team. 
• Preference for experience in health management and income protection, but not essential.
• Showcase an ability to be self motivated, organised and with strong communication skills
• High-level experience and application of Workers Compensation and  Rehabilitation Act 2003 and strong written skills.
• Have an intermediate level in computer literacy or above
