Commercial Insurance Broker - 100% Remote!

HAYLO People are experts in General Insurance Recruitment. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join an innovative brokerage in a 100% fully remote role available anywhere in Australia.

This opportunity is perfect for a senior SME commercial broker who values complete geographic flexibility and autonomy. Working alongside an established schemes practice, you will take charge of managing and converting the general commercial insurance needs of existing scheme clients, alongside handling a strong pipeline of unserviced inbound commercial enquiries. In addition, you will act as a mentor to two junior brokers, sharing in team growth while enjoying performance bonuses tied to both individual and team success.

The role:

• Provide dedicated general commercial insurance solutions to existing clients.
• Manage, convert, and service high volume inbound general commercial insurance enquiries.
• Mentor, guide, and support two junior brokers to build their technical capability and broking skills.
• Lead end to end renewal management, policy placements, and market negotiations across SME risks.
• Collaborate remotely with the wider business to streamline service delivery and maximize client retention.

About you:

• Must hold a Tier 1 insurance qualification.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Broker with strong technical policy knowledge across general lines.
• Proactive mindset with a desire to mentor and develop junior broking talent.
• Self motivated professional who thrives in an autonomous, work from home environment.
• Strong client relationship skills with a knack for identifying cross selling opportunities and closing inbound leads.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and virtual platforms.
