Underwriter

HAYLO People are specialists in General Insurance and Personal Injury Recruitment. We're partnered with a market leading agency who are seeking an underwriter to join their team. 

Embark on a new adventure in the insurance industry and join a well known company and learn a niche line of insurance. Experience in Personal Lines, Package, Farm, SME and Property Underwriting will all be considered.
 
This is a permanent full-time role based in North Sydney.   
 
As an Underwriter, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• To develop and underwrite new business and renewal retention
• Manage client relationships
• Increase company's market share through building new and existing relationships
• Be able to effectively promote the company and products to the broker market
• Attend industry events on behalf of the business

To be successful in this role, you will offer:

• 5 years' Underwriting experience preferred
• You will be passionate about delivering professional client experiences and enjoy working towards new business opportunities
• An organised person who demonstrates strong time management skills and prioritisation
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience in Personal Lines, Package, Farm, SME and Property Underwriting will all be considered
