Technical Claims Specialist

Our client is a reputable Insurer known for delivering strong service and consistency in the market. Through it's specialised products and experienced team, the business is continuing to grow and they are seeking an experienced claims professional to join them at this exciting time.

This is a permanent full-time role, based in Sydney CBD.

The Role:

• Manage a portfolio of complex claims end to end
• Be the technical 'go-to' within the team, providing guidance and assistance on escalated claims
• Advise on liability, policy interpretation and disputes
• Coach and mentor Claims Consultants within the team, teaching best practices and new ways of looking at claims
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Design and deliver training modules to assist the growth of best practices within the team

Location: Sydney CBD. Full time in office, moving to 2-3 days per week after probation

Salary: $105,000 Plus Super + Competitive Annual Bonus

About you

• 3-5 years' experience in claims management across motor or property related claims
• Strong ability to determine liability
• Ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders
• Experience in mentoring claims consultants through end-to-end claims management
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to find answers and take your own initiative
