$135,000 Package (experience dependent)
Shift work 7am-3pm / or 3pm - 9pm - Monday to Friday, Site based
This is the ideal role for a current Senior Injury Management Specialist / Advisor or a Rehab Consultant with an Allied Health background looking for their next step.
As the Injury Management Specialist you will be responsible for all elements of strategic Injury Management. Working with the team you will oversee treatment plans, return to work procedures & drive team outcomes, to ensure employees are quickly and affordably restored to their pre-injury activities.
This is a permanent full-time role based on site in Ipswich.
The role
Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of tailored injury management and RTW plans for complex, high-risk and sensitive cases.
Ensure timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses
Assess non-work-related injuries prior to return to work, where appropriate
Identify and coordinate suitable restricted duties in collaboration with site leaders
Educate employees on their rights and responsibilities regarding RTW
Provide training and support to leaders on managing RTW processes
About you
Allied Health exposure (e.g. Rehabilitation, Physio, Occupational Rehab) is required.
Extensive end-to-end injury management and RTW experience, including demonstrated experience in senior/complex case management leadership within a self-insured or large insurer-managed scheme.
Experience in coaching and supporting others
Experience building relationships and managing priorities.
A strategic approach to problem solving.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
