The Role
As the Claims Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a national self-insured workers compensation program, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement across all operations.
- Leading and managing daily operations of the self-insurance program
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
- Monitoring and achieving KPIs and performance metrics
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team
- Managing key stakeholder relationships including regulators, brokers, and service providers
- Embedding best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You are a strategic and people-focused leader with strong operational expertise in workers compensation or personal injury.
- Proven experience in workers compensation claims management and operations
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of building and developing teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across complex environments
- Analytical mindset with the ability to drive data-led decisions
- Strong understanding of self-insurance frameworks (highly regarded)
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
