HAYLO People are partnering with a leader in insurance operations to recruit a Workers' Compensation Delivery Lead.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Workers' Compensation professional to bridge operational expertise with technology delivery, ensuring critical system enhancements are successfully implemented and embedded within a complex environment.
The Opportunity As the Workers' Compensation Delivery Lead, you will be the key link between business operations and technology teams, providing governance, subject matter expertise, testing oversight, and change leadership across a major claims platform.
Working closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, Service Desk teams, and Learning & Development stakeholders, you'll ensure changes are prioritised, tested, communicated, and delivered with minimal operational risk.
Key Responsibilities - Provide Workers' Compensation subject matter expertise across claims processes, compliance requirements, and operational workflows.
- Gather, validate, and document business requirements and process impacts.
- Lead end-to-end delivery governance, release planning, and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage incident triage, defect resolution, and service delivery oversight.
- Coordinate and perform Business Validation Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Production Verification Testing.
- Partner with Learning & Development teams to support training, communications, and change readiness activities.
About You - Strong knowledge of Australian Workers’ Compensation legislation, regulations, and compliance obligations.
- Experience within claims, self-insurance, or complex operational environments.
- Background in delivery, change, technical advisory, team management, or systems improvement.
- Experience working with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and operational stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end claims workflows, audit requirements, and business impacts.
