HAYLO People are proud to partner exclusively with a well-established organisation within the care and community sector to recruit an experienced WHS & Wellbeing Lead.

This is a strategic and operational leadership role, responsible for driving workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across a multi-site environments partnering closely with leadership teams to embed safety, wellbeing and risk management into day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the development and implementation of WHS and wellbeing strategies, programs and systems
  • Driving a strong organisational safety culture through coaching, engagement and education
  • Overseeing WHS compliance, audits, incident investigations and risk management activities
  • Managing workers compensation initiatives, claims oversight and external rehabilitation partnerships
  • Developing wellbeing programs and supporting broader employee wellness initiatives
About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in both strategic and operational WHS leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, workers compensation frameworks and compliance obligations
  • Experience developing and implementing WHS systems, policies and wellbeing initiatives
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A collaborative and hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence across all levels
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence
