Insurance Building Estimator and Supervisor

We are long standing partners with a growing, family-run Insurance Building business that also offers Construction and Restoration solutions. We are currently recruiting for experienced Estimators and Supervisors who have experience within Insurance Building.

Location: North Brisbane, QLD
Hours: Monday - Friday, flexible working arrangements
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 salary plus super + car/fuel + phone and laptop
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  
The Role:
Depending on your experience, you will play a vital role in estimation and/or oversee and coordinate building projects as a Supervisor.

As a Estimator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Estimate BAU claims in line with KPIs.
• Conduct full property assessments and inspections.
• Create scope of works, costings and insurance reports for damaged assets.
• Prioritise workload efficiently to meet workload and deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and the team to ensure projects meet expectations and deadlines.
• Estimate project costs and manage resources effectively for efficient project completion.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and suppliers to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

As a Supervisor, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee and coordinate construction projects across insurance and construction.
• Manage the end-to-end process of jobs in your portfolio, ensuring a high standard.
• Review costs, create schedules and review all challenges and ongoing work.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients across the market, always keeping service and impressions at the forefront.

To be successful in this role, you will offer the following:

• Trade qualifications in building / construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction and insurance works. Project delievery skills are a bonus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide high level customer service.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
