Occupational Nurse - AHPRA Registered

Duties will include:

• Manage the provision of, and assist in first aid routine/s, emergency and non-urgent medical treatment to all clients attending the Health Centre.
• Issuing of simple and basic medicines, taking into consideration patient medical requirements.
• Liaise and consult with all relevant health care professionals, emergency services, rehabilitation providers and 3rd party workers compensation and/or self-insurance unit to ensure timely and accurate administration of all injury management, workers compensation claims and other medical requirements.
• Manage the health centre staff and create/promote health and well-being services available.

To be successful you will:

•  Possession of current CPR certificate
  • Possession of Occupational First aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • The ability to or have relevant experience in managing the daily functions of a Health Centre.
  • Current AHPRA registration (Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse)
