Full Job Description
Embark on your next challenge while building upon your claims experience and manage your own portfolio of Accident and Health claims. Working in a smaller business you will be able to see the impact of your work, within a growing team who are passionate just like you about achieving positive claims outcomes and working collaboratively together. With tenured leaders within the business, they are passionate about supporting the team with growth in their career and able to identify opportunities for ongoing support and coaching to ensure you succeed. This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney CBD.   

The Role:
  • Support claimants through each stage of the claims process managing on a portfolio of 50 accident and health claims.
  • Provide a proactive case management approach with a passion for all aspects of claims management.
  • Handle the settlement of claims, including overseeing claims referred to external handlers for settlement. 
  • Build and maintain rapport with clients and brokers.
  • Assist with the continued development and implementation of improved claims processes.
Benefits
  • Salary (experience dependent): $85,000 - $90,000 + Super

About you
  • An experienced case manager or income protection with ideally 2 + years of experience however most importantly you will be passionate about delivering superb customer experiences and enjoy working towards outcomes.
  • Have a genuine, caring nature that puts customers at the heart of what you do, showing empathy in all circumstances.
  • An organised person who demonstrates strong time management skills and prioritisation.
  • A true team player who supports peers and loves helping others.
