An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Team Leader to join a high-performing insurer in Darwin. This role is suited to a people-first leader who can drive operational performance, build team capability, and create a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

You will be instrumental in fostering a positive team culture, supporting capability development, and driving performance outcomes across key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve individual, team, and divisional objectives
  • Create and execute performance plans aligned to business strategy and operational targets
  • Manage day-to-day workflow, productivity, resourcing, and team efficiency
  • Monitor team performance and promote accountability, development, and continuous improvement
  • Provide consistent leadership, coaching, and mentoring to strengthen team capability and engagement
  
 What you'll bring
  • Previous leadership experience across allied health, insurance or other related field 
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate others
  • Financial acumen with the ability to interpret and analyse reporting relevant to team performance
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess information, identify issues, and implement practical solutions
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for team success, customer outcomes, and continuous improvement
